Katrina Kaif gets animated! - Latest Bollywood News Gossips

Mumbai, April 6 -- She looks like Katrina Kaif and even her body language is inspired by the actor. But Kate isn't Kat's fan. In fact, she is the lead heroine of the Anil Goyal-directed feature animation film Crackers.

Goyal says, "Katrina is one actress who is loved by children as well as adults. And in animation too, she looks equally pretty. That is why my character of Kate is inspired by her."

And with the real Katrina scaling new heights, the director hopes that the animated character too will excite audiences into catching the film.

Set to release on May 20, Crackers is an animation film based on the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. Sexy and gutsy, Kate, the animated heroine, takes on the terrorists along with her friends - Roxy, Gopu and Bolly.

The film is one of the first 3-D stereoscopic full-length Indian feature film, with story and dialogues by Priyank Dubey. While Nikhil Divedi and Smilie Suri are dubbing for its lead characters, the film's music is by Dilip Sen and lyrics by Sudhakar Sharma. Singers like Shaan, Shreya Goshal, Hariharan, Pamela Jain, Raja Hasan and Jolly Mukherjee render the film's songs.
